For those of you working with VBE in ArchiCAD 14, a BE software update has been released by Graphisoft.
(Note: You will not be explicitly prompted by ArchiCAD to update.)

As VBE for ArchiCAD 14 is run from a dongle license, there is no need to deactivate this version.

• Uninstall your existing VBE for ArchiCAD 14
• Goto http://www.graphisoft.com/products/virtual-building-explorer/downloads.html
• Download your appropriate PC/Mac version
• Install the new version using the downloaded file

Issues that have been addressed in this Hotfix:

• Save dialog is not visible on Windows Vista / Windows7
• Wrong character encoding in layer names
• VBE movie files don't work on some Windows machines (where c++ runtime library is not pre-installed)
